I am a territorial planning professional with over 10 years of experience in urban and landscape design, project management, and socio-environmental planning. In recent years, I have expanded my expertise through advanced studies in geomatics, GIS, spatial analysis, and geoweb technologies (DESS), integrating cutting-edge geospatial tools with landscape projects and analyses focused on low-impact and environmentally sensitive solutions.
I have led research and design workshops that connect traditional territorial planning with a focus on landscapes, climate change, desertification, and cultural heritage. I served as Director of the Architecture Department at the Pontifical Catholic University of Temuco, Chile, and founded the Araucanía Territorial Ecosystems Lab, a platform that brings together science, landscape, and traditional knowledge.
My professional portfolio includes urban and territorial masterplans, improvements for mining towns, and rural infrastructure projects for public and private clients. I have collaborated with major mining companies such as SQM(Chemical and Mining Society of Chile), Minera Escondida, Kinross, (National Copper Corporation of Chile), Antofagasta Minerals, and Angloamerican, as well as forestry companies including Arauco. I have also contributed to the development of thematic routes and facilities in rural areas across the regions of Arica, Araucanía, and Copiapó.
