As a qualified Finance Manager with a proven track record of delivering strategic financial management and operational leadership within education and commercial sectors, I am excited to apply for the Head of Finance and HR (Bursar) role at Gosfield School. My professional expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, compliance, and people management aligns perfectly with the diverse responsibilities of this role.
I have extensive experience managing end-to-end finance functions, including budget preparation and monitoring, financial reporting, payroll oversight, and fee billing, using accounting systems such as Sage. I am highly skilled in producing accurate management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, audit standards, and internal financial policies.
Beyond finance, I bring hands-on experience in HR processes, including liaising with external HR advisors, leading on employment contracts, supporting recruitment, and overseeing payroll and pensions administration.
