Lorreine Stanley

I am a Civil engineering Technologist student. While attending I have gained experience using AutoCAD drafting, surveying software, and GIS. I had completed a co-op with a build & development company as the civil engineering coordiniator assistant.

I worked for research and lab support in the biology department, as well as have worked within residential construction. My experience also includes handling administrative duties such as monitoring shipments, taking orders, keeping accurate records, and making sure all shipments comply with safety codes.

I have a keen interest in construction and help with new land development that alters the structure of life in communities. I have an unquenchable curiosity for finding ways to better urban planning. It is my ties to a supportive community that developed me; as I was heavily involved in the extract curriculars in school, sports, and arts. I still volunteer with the Okanagan College student union toward the goal of equity in students’ access and success in education.

-Supported senior leadership by developing status reports on activities related to clientele,

bid tenders, budget, resourcing, risk mitigation, GIS requirements, and design strategies.

-Assisted in coordinating subcontractors’ work to complete construction projects and fulfilled contractual obligations for administration logistics and day event services.

-Created scopes of work and evaluated exciting plans, budgets, AutoCAD files, processes, and event planning to identify opportunities for improvement.
