Loucif Hebbache, a dedicated software engineer and AI scientist, graduated from the
Higher National School of Computer Science in Algiers, Algeria, in 2020, and further developed his skills by completing a research master's degree in computer vision at the
University of Quebec in Outaouais in collaboration with the National Research Council
Canada by 2023. His academic projects included leveraging drone imagery and deep learning for concrete bridge defect detection.
In March 2023, Loucif joined IRIS R&D Group Inc. as an AI Scientist, focusing on developing AI models for road safety, including road damage detection and segmentation,
and traffic sign detection. At IRIS, he programmed in Python and utilized deep learning tools like PyTorch to design and implement these models. His work contributed to effectively identifying various elements on the road that enhance traffic safety.
