Apart from my passion and studies for all ecology, whether terrestrial or aquatic, in my personal life I pride myself on my ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle through outdoor recreation and my social circles. First and foremost I am an avid hunter, fly fisherman and all around outdoorsman, I have a great passion for angling, particularly the art of fly tying. I also pride myself on my physical health, I am a very active person in and outside of the gym.

I take great enjoyment in being social and consider myself very personable. I have a vigour and openness to new things, a love of adversity in and outside of the job. I have found a great passion for instruction of fly fishing and tying on a personal level between my peers and extremely excited for the potential learning opportunities and expanding that into a career.

• Involved in various projects revolving around surface and ground water sampling for numerous clients, particularly in water table containment isolation in landfill waste management.
• Assisted with air monitoring programs regarding allowable pollutant exposure at Vale's Nickel Smelter and Refineries in Sudbury, ON.
• Conducted stream net surveys for fish populations in native trout bearing streams for mining tailings contaminants.
