I am a hard working, self motivated individual looking to continue my career as a veterinary assistant. I love learning and expanding my knowledge and skill set.Through my experience as a veterinary assistant I have learned exceptional customer service as well as administrative work techniques. I have also expanded on my skills in monitoring vital signs and animal restraint.

My passion and love for animals started as a young child and has grown since. I have always wanted to work in the veterinary industry so i am living my dream!

My professional experience consists of working as a veterinary assistant, as well as a laboratory technician for occupational health and safety. I have also done some administrative work as a co-op work student. I have mastered skills such as filing, sending and receiving test results as well as prescriptions, and booking appointments. I am also strong in office communication, and customer service.

I am currently a student at Robertson College completing my diploma in Veterinary Assisting. I have studies courses such as animal nutrition, anatomy and physiology, vaccines and immunity, and common conditions.
