Nacelle Co. ltd. (Tokyo,Japan)

February 2021 - November 2022

Nacelle is a technical oriented distributor of high-performance electronic devices and embedded computers for Defense and Space industries in Japan. Nacelle also provides difficult to find semiconductors and parts sourced through industry connections. Their customers are mainly Government agencies, Vehicle industries, and Electronic companies.

I worked there as a Sales Assistant and Translator.

• Collaborated with the Sales leaders primarily to review, organize and prioritize their top customer inquiries (approx. 50 questions per day). 
• Communicated directly with client companies in other countries’ regarding semiconductors and sourcing parts in English and Japanese via Outlook.
• Organized and maintained product information about semiconductor parts and equipment using Excel.

Sanko Co Ltd. (Tokyo, Japan)

September 2021 – February 2022

Sanko is a manufacturer and distributor of industrial safety equipment and disaster prevention equipment. Their customers are primarily construction companies.

I worked there as a Sales Assistant.

• Tracked, prioritized and followed up with customers and enquiries. 
• Responded to sales and product inquiries (over 100 /day) via MS Teams, Outlook, and direct phone calls.
• Managed and maintained product information and availability details using Excel 

Ookini Ramen (Calgary, AB) 

October 2018 - February 2021

Ookini Ramen is a casual Japanese diner in Calgary, AB serving traditional Japanese style dishes and noodles. As a Manager, I worked closely with the owner of Ookini and helped to oversee the general operations of the restaurant including:

• Responsible for overseeing kitchen and service staff (typically 3 – 5 employees)
• Posted advertisements on social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google reviews) about the food and atmosphere.
• Responsible for interviews, hiring, and mentoring new employees
• Managing shift coverage and schedules
• Ordering stock and supplies, including food, paper products 
• Promoted Google reviews and posted responses.

May 2011 - May 2018

Five Foxes manufactures and sells modern fashion and casual clothing in Japan; they have over 20 Brands and 367 locations through-out Japan. I was promoted to Assistant Manager after 3 years as a Sales associate, in a new store that they launched a new brand out of, and continually achieved high sales results:

My duties as Assistant Manager:

• Managed and organized displays of clothing and high quantity or value sales items 
• Managed and ordered the inventory and supply, for all clothing items for a busy retail location (approx. $200,000 in sales per month) 
• Lead and mentored sales team; collaborated to develop sales strategies, closing, and creating loyal repeat customers.
• Trained new staff, both full-time and part-time workforce.
