As an Economics professional with four years of financial experience, I have had the opportunity to hone my skills in various aspects of finance, including financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management. During my time in the Dominican financial sector, I was able to develop a deep understanding of the local market, as well as the broader economic forces shaping it. This experience has proved invaluable in my work, allowing me to provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management.

However, recognizing the importance of data analytics in modern finance, I decided to pursue a post-degree diploma in Data Analytics at Langara College in Vancouver, BC. This program has allowed me to enhance my technical skills and learn new tools and techniques for data analysis, which I can apply to the finance field. I am excited to apply these skills in my future work, helping to uncover insights and inform decision-making.

I am eager to apply my diverse skill set and experience to new challenges and opportunities in Vancouver. Interacting with people from diverse backgrounds has been a hallmark of my career, and I look forward to continuing this trend as I pursue my next work experience. I believe that my analytical abilities, coupled with my strong work ethic and passion for finance, make me a strong candidate for any finance-related role.

With a bachelor's degree in economics and four years of experience in financial planning and analysis, I have developed a strong foundation in finance and data analysis. I have worked with different companies in the Dominican Republic, providing financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management solutions. For example, at Novahen Credisoluciones, I established a new business development strategy that resulted in a USD$300,000 investment from the Partners board, and implemented a new software for tracking and reporting on financial performance, increasing efficiency by 20%.

Currently, I finished a master's degree in finance at UIBE Business School in China, and pursuing a post-degree diploma in data analytics at Langara College in Canada. These programs have enhanced my technical skills and knowledge in data analysis, using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL. I am eager to apply these skills to the finance field, uncovering insights and informing decision-making.
