I am a Design Manager looking to move to Edmonton, Alberta. I am originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and am currently living in mainland United States. I have almost four years of work experience, ranging from being an intern to being a manager for 30+ employees.
Management, I am passionate about cooking, baking, and dancing, finding these passions joyful, exciting, and relaxing all at once. I have extensive experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Procreate, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Docs, Slides, and Sheets. I have also worked with HootSuite, HubSpot, WordPress, Asana, Slack, Canva, Figma, and Miro.
I have two precious job experiences working as a manager, leading teams of 30+ people into creating the best and safest experiences for our clients. I have also worked as a graphic designer and marketing assistant, researching companies' target audiences and creating social media content designs for those audiences. I would write and schedule social media posts, collaborate with the design and marketing teams in order to create and find the best content and data results.
I have also worked on competitions, one of them being the Disney Imagineering 2020 Competition. There I was my team's leader, where we designed an installation honoring Puerto Rico, and brought awareness to the deforestation of it's rainforest. My team and I reached the national Semifinals.
I am a graduate student at the Savannah College of Art and Design and am graduating in August 2023. I am enhancing my design management education and experiences by learning about it's history along with practicing my leadership, design, and research skills.
