- Responsible for constructing and testing machine learning models to reconstruct event position in germanium detectors
- Used Python and Pytorch software to construct models and gained familiarity with Machine Learning concepts such as Neural Networks
- Presented findings at weekly team meetings. Presented a talk titled Machine Learning for Event Position Reconstruction in Germanium Detectors at the Canadian Astroparticle Physics Summer Student Talk Competition.
OPERATIONS ASSISTANT (July 2023 to August 2023 and December 2023)
- Gained insight into the functioning of pacemakers and coronary stents
