Maya Schlesinger

I am a first year McGill University student. I have worked in many different settings with people of all ages from toddlers to elderly people. Some of my strengths include communication and organization skills. I am looking for a job that will allow me to continue to work with people and acquire new skills.

I have worked as a lifeguard for two years which involved ensuring the safety of the environment and patrons of the pool. I was a swim instructor for young children learning how to swim.

I worked as a camp counsellor at a seven week sleepaway camp for two summers. I was responsible for ten and fourteen year old children. I was honoured with the role of creating the main camp wide program of the summer with a team of five others which required planning and development from May through July.

I am currently enrolled at McGill University as a Psychology Major through the Faculty of Science.

Last spring, I completely a DEC at Dawson College in Health Sciences.
