I am an ambitious and adventurous individual with a strong passion for nature and wildlife. My goal is to expand my knowledge and immerse myself in a community of open minded and intellectual people.
In the summer of 2019, I worked as a research assistant with Operation Wallacea where I worked abroad in Peru where I performed wildlife surveys with researchers and local indigenous communities in the flooded rainforests by using a combination of novel and indigenous knowledge systems and became familiar with reserve management.
In 2016, I have worked, full time, as a Regulatory Associate for a chemical company, NALCO where I was responsible for chemical inventory and product label creation.
I have graduated from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor's degree in honour's biology in 2019 and I will be graduating this September 2023 from Trent University with a master’s degree in environmental and life sciences.
I have gained invaluable experience in my work as a researcher in my university lab at Trent University. For my research, I was involved in lake water sampling, laboratory analysis, data analysis and research based on in situ chlorophyll fluorometry and vertical phytoplankton distribution of central Ontario lakes.
