Housekeeping - GRC, Ray Rock, NWT - Ray Rock, NWT
(2025-06 - 2026-07)
Fly-in/fly-out remote camp
- Helped open and close the camp, getting every room and common area guest-ready for start-up, then stripping and prepping the whole site for shutdown.
- Cleaned 36 rooms daily, plus handled the checkouts and turnovers tied to whatever the flight manifest brought in that day.
- Placed and tracked supply orders so the camp never ran short on housekeeping or guest essentials mid-rotation.
- Caught maintenance issues during room checks and flagged them before they became complaints.
Housekeeping - Black Diamond Lodge
(2024-01 - 2025-04)
- Cleaned and reset guest rooms between stays on a daily rotation, from stripping beds to laundry and dusting.
- Sanitized bathrooms and high-touch surfaces to lodge standard, and kept the housekeeping cart stocked and organized so I wasn't backtracking mid-shift.
- Split attention between short-stay guest rooms and long-term resident units, adjusting the cleaning approach for each.
- Followed up on maintenance issues I flagged to make sure they actually got fixed, not just reported.
