From 1995-2011 I was a stay at home mother with 3 children. My middle child was diagnosed as autistic which delayed my return to work. I spent a lot of time with my son taking him to programs such as speech pathology, Physiotherapy and Autism Behavioural Therapy program run through Landsdowne Children Services.
Being able to stay home with my children gave me the opportunity to participate in school and extra curricular activities with all my children. I returned to work after my divorce to help make ends meet . I was very fortunate and grateful that my first job back my employers were understanding of the commitment I had with my son's Autism therapy
