I am a visual effects supervisor and artist working in film and television production since 2006. I am currently available to work in both production on set and post production of current or upcoming projects. I have relied on the Adobe suite of tools throughout my career, with After Effects and mostly Red Giant plugins as my go to toolset. Just recently began to explore Nuke through an online “AE to Nuke compositing” course.
I began my career in Hollywood working with Gary Hutzel and Doug Drexler in the post production visual effects department of Battlestar Galactica. After several years with them I joined Dan Curry working on the well-established “Chuck” series. After nearly a decade with Dan I moved to Vancouver to take the role of on set vfx supervisor for “The 100” and then the “Batwoman” series. Once the Covid shutdowns reached Vancouver, I shifted my attention back to post production.
I am a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident of Canada, and a current member of IATSE 891, so I can work on any stage or location in either country.
I am looking forward to discussing how I can help take your next project to success !
Working as a professional Visual Effects Artist and then Supervisor since 2006 I have had a great deal of experience throughout the entire production and post production pipeline. I believe it is important to experience each role I am ultimately responsible for.
I have a B.A.S. In CAD technology with a specialization in virtual reality. The last formal education I took was from the DAVE School on the backlot of Universal Studios, Florida.
