My name is Chef, Micky Fernando. At eight years old, I would sit in front of the TV and watch and 90 show called cooking with Jan dreaming one day I would become just like that guy who wore those aprons that red funny phrases like “wok this way” and “wokkie talkie.” Fast forward to 2023 after years of blood sweat and tears in the kitchen I now consider myself a well-rounded and capable chef who is extremely passionate about food culture. I have worked in the best five star hotels in fine dining restaurants in Toronto, and I’m experienced in catering for small to large banquets, weddings, and receptions.
I have extensive catering retail experience. I am well-versed in menu, planning and costing as well as cultivating relationships with vendors to source the best quality ingredients. I have managed kitchen teams of various sizes and skill levels, and I conduct myself with integrity and professionalism.
