Full Stack Developer with a passion for creating responsive web applications. With 5 years of experience as a hvac technician, I transitioned my problem solving and attention to detail into programming. I bring value through my resourcefulness, and excellent verbal communication.
I currently have experience with creating full stack web applications with Ruby on Rails as my backend, and React as my front end.
● The languages I excel with are Ruby, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and most recently Typescript.
● I have 3 years of experience teaching over 50 students how to code, which has helped me become a better programmer by mastering the basics and planning out projects.
● I currently have 2 to 3 projects I am working on using Typescript with React and Go to create a RESTful API.
● My focus going forward will be to deploy a project to production, using either AWS, Heroku, or Vercel and continue to learn best practices for responsive websites and concepts like implementing code splitting, server side/client side rendering, Search Engine Optimization, and hydration.
This program includes over 800 hours of coursework, encompassing lessons, labs, study groups, individual and pair programming projects, code challenges, portfolio project presentations and more.
