Michelle Smith

I am a licensed lawyer currently working as a consultant with a reputable firm that serves non-profits and charitable organizations.

I have 6 years of professional experience in the non-profit and public sector. Prior to consulting, I worked as a human rights advisor and investigator in schools. Some of my special skills include report writing, investigations, research, workshop facilitation, and working with vulnerable groups (e.g youth, refugees, survivors of gender based violence, etc). I have a breadth of knowledge as it pertains to equity, diversity, and inclusion, human rights and anti-discrimination law.

I have a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and International Development Studies from York University. I completed my Juris Doctorate degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2017.
