About

Willing to relocate: Anywhere • Conduit Bending & Raceways: Skilled in hand and hydraulic bending, cutting, and installing Rigid Metal Conduit (RMC), EMT, PVC, and liquid-tight conduit up to 3 inches, as well as cable tray systems.

Process Instrumentation: Hands-on experience calibrating, wiring, and loop-testing 4-20mA instrumentation, including pressure transmitters, temperature sensors (RTDs/thermocouples), flow meters, and limit switches.
Diagnostics & Testing Equipment: Highly adept with digital multimeters, megohmmeters (meggers), clamp meters, thermal imaging cameras, motor rotation testers, and oscilloscope diagnostics.
Electrical Codes & Standards: Thorough knowledge and practical application of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) / National Electrical Code (NEC) and municipal building regulations.
High-Voltage Safety & Lockout/Tagout: Certified/experienced in strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, Arc Flash boundary safety (CSA Z462 / NFPA 70E), zero-energy state verification, and PPE compliance.
Schematic Reading & Blueprint Analysis: interpreting complex electrical single-line diagrams, schematic drawings, panel layouts, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and ladder logic • Root-Cause Failure Analysis: Strong analytical mindset for systematically tracing electrical faults, identifying root causes, and implementing permanent preventative fixes under production deadline pressure.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM): Experienced in executing structured PM schedules, infrared thermography inspections, and vibration analysis checks to prevent unscheduled equipment downtime.
Commissioning & Retrofits: Proven ability to run new power lines, wire control cabinets from scratch, perform initial power-ups, and commission new or upgraded automated production machinery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective team player experienced in working alongside mechanical millwrights, PLC programmers, plant engineers, and production operators to solve operational challenges.
