The quest for knowledge has kept me moving and has assisted me in reaching a number of milestones. It made me an expert in the medical field.
Being born in a village, I became acquainted with ordinary people and their health issues from an early age. After graduating, I joined the health service of my country and started my general practice in a rural area. While addressing common health issues, I also encountered some challenges that necessitated referring patients to city hospitals, which patients often found difficult to follow.
To help my patients better, I started my post-graduate training and eventually earned a fellowship in medicine and then an MD in general medicine from Dhaka University.
I have experience working in various countries and have been a witness to changes in our scientific world. It has a tendency to make people feel overwhelmed by their accomplishments, which I think is a wrong conclusion. We are in the process of evolution, which has its pros and cons and demands us to be cautious. There are opportunists and philanthropists everywhere, which rings the alarm. I want to contribute my expertise at this juncture so that people can judge their ways.
In short, I believe it is our fiduciary duty to act in the best interests of our people.
