My name is Moonis Mohammad, and I recently graduated from Carleton University with a computer system engineering degree.
Since I started programming, I have worked on several personal and university-driven projects. These projects have involved creating frontends and backends in diverse technology stacks (detailed in my resume) connected to SQL-based databases that are hosted on cloud computing platforms like Azure and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
With regards to data structures and algorithms, I have done extensive practice on Leet Code and have solved around 120 programming problems and taken part in many hackathons ( 3503 Rank on Google Kick Start in 2021). During my degree, I have had an all-round experience with Linux with regards to concurrent programming, file systems, memory management, networking, and security.
I have also had the experience of working in the eCommerce industry with Shopify as an intern. Working on Hydrogen and Oxygen frameworks to make headless commerce easier for developers and help them achieve independence when developing customized and complex merchant apps. Provide integration into existing workflows, and hosting platforms that remove the need to maintain server infrastructure, while still managing and deploying customized storefronts at will.
Currently, I work as an associate backend Java developer at Infosys. I joined Infosys as part of their graduate program where they train and give you experience in multiple projects with different teams. Successfully completed Infosys’s internal Java, Hibernate, Selenium, Agile, and DevOps training and certifications. This gave me a diverse and deep understanding of multiple aspects of creating a web application.
