I freshly finished my PSW certification from Ontario Institute of Health and Innovation under NACC and now looking for compassionate caregiver position to make people’s lives better.
Personal Support Worker with clinical placement experience in a long term care setting. Assisted residents with daily personal care including bathing grooming feeding toileting transfers and mobility support. Followed care plans infection prevention procedures and safety guidelines. Provided respectful patient and non judgemental care and worked effectively as part of the healthcare team to support resident comfort dignity and wellbeing.
Completed a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification program at the Ontario Institute of Health and Innovation (OIHI), including hands-on clinical placement in a long-term care setting. Training covered personal care, assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), infection prevention and control, resident safety, dementia care, and effective communication within healthcare teams. Supported by certifications in CPR & Standard First Aid, WHMIS, AODA, and Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA).
