Muqdas Sharif

Hi! My name is Muqdas Sharif and I am a recent graduate from George Brown College. I have completed pursuing my passion in Business Administration Human Resources and have accumulated experience as a Human Resource coordinator and recruiter.

I absolutely love being able to connect with internal and external stakeholders and create a magical cliental experience while doing my job. I’m looking to work for a company where I can showcase my strong communication, coordination and teamwork skills and strengthen them within my position. I absolutely love working within the recruitment side of HR and willing to dive further into other aspects of HR coordination.

Aside my professional aspect, I love being able to tell great stories, make new friends and experiment with things I have never tried before

While completing my degree, I had the chance to complete my 4 month internship at Better Living Health Community Center working both within the recruitment and health and safety department. Throughout the duration of this time I had gained experience and knowledge in screening applicants, being part of interviews, assisting Hiring mangers with hiring decisions, preparing resignation and termination forms and screening resumes.

Within the Health and Safety department, I ensured that policies and regulations were being met with safety regulations set, ensuring first aid equipment were stocked and available as well as checking in on missing in action employees.

After my internship I had secured a job with Georgian, as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. I had worked in this role for 10 months. In this role I gained experience in educating Hiring managers on conduting interviews and best practices, maintaining applicant relationship throughout hiring process, supporting both internal and external stakeholders as well as overlooking the full recruitment process. I was also given the chance to work within employee engagement and health and safety.
