I am currently a student at The British Columbia Institute of Technology taking the Bachelor of Science specializing in Ecological Restoration and graduate in April 2023.
Over the past year and a half, my Ecological Restoration program has taught me skills that prepared me to learn quickly, work well with others, learn skills that are used directly in the field, how to research topics of relevance, and properly create restoration plans from scratch.
I am incredibly eager to work outside, in all weather conditions, to push myself to discover new capabilities. I have respect and passion for the field of Ecological Restoration and Natural Resource Management and believe this passion can drive me to learn anything that is presented to me and apply it in an efficient, innovative way.
This position would be a wonderful opportunity to utilize the skills that I have been learning over the past five years. As a hard-working team player that is always punctual, I believe that these qualities would be an asset to your team. In today’s fast-paced environment in which multitasking is a must, my hard-working, friendly way of dealing with others will surely be an advantage over other candidates.
In my mind, being successful involves solely my contribution to help the recovery of ecosystems in any way that is required for the rest of my life as a professional.
