Holder of two MAScs in Material engineering and Mechanical engineering and 6+ years of research engineering experience. Strong background in Metallurgy, Materials science, and Mechanical engineering including material characterization, alloy design, microstructure-property relationship, thermomechanical processing, mechanical testing and analysis, data acquisition, phase transformation, solidification and heat treatments, analytical process modeling, process development and optimization, and corrosion properties. As a Research Engineer, I have had the privilege to be directly involved with industrial projects at Magna Promatek, Arconic, and Honda for more than 3 years.

• Expert in microstructural characterization (sample preparation and metallography), microstructural testing (Optical microscopy, SEM, XRD, etc.), heat treatments, thermal and calorimetry testing, and analysis (DSC, IC, etc.), thermo-mechanical experiments, material selection, process development, and optimization, mechanical testing (hardness, tensile, compression, shear, etc.), and Digital image correlation (DIC). Proficient with cast and wrought aluminum alloys, age hardenable alloys, and magnesium alloys.
• Solid knowledge of data processing, analytical process modeling, technical software such as OriginPro and MS Office, Matlab, AutoCad, Labview, metallurgical softwares such as Thermocalc, JMat, ImageJ. 
• 3+ years of working as a research engineer at the “Forming and Crash Lab” at the university of waterloo, which is one of the best academic-industrial environments in Canada. Providing a wide range of research services (several industrial material characterizations and testing contracts, analysis, and technical reports) to the industry on a contract or collaborative basis, particularly with Magna Promotech, Arconics, and Honda Americas.
