Operating a vac truck in place of the usual operator for the span of one week. Hauling a mud truck with a drill for a span of a month in a rural area. I occasionally swamped for the vac driver on his return.

Gained experience swamping, daylighting underground pipelines. I also set up shots and assisted the driller and the locator. The crew was mostly on the road doing missed shots so I gained experience with highway work and assisted in placing proper signage.

Did various courses in my downtime to further my knowledge. I was exposed to the operations of plow crews on the days that my crew was backed up on locates or a broken down drill.
