Nikhil Sheth

Born in the financial capital of Europe, into a family of accountants drove me naturally to be curious about accounting and finance. This curiosity led me to Nottingham University where I studied accounting & finance with contemporary Chinese; a study program that took me to China to complete my schooling where I immersed myself in the Chinese culture and language.

I stayed a while in Hong Kong working as an intern in insurance sales and technological development for Bupa. I helped to test and assist with the on-boarding of a new CRM system within the company, an experience which further expanded my China competence. Following my time in China, I returned to the UK to complete my degree.

I then furthered my accounting studies by completing my AAT Level 3 qualification. Following this, and along with my passion for Music, I was then led to being recruited by Kobalt Music Group as a Finance Assistant.

2 ½ years of professional accounting experience, working within one of the fastest growing music publishing companies of our time. I have accumulated a wealth of skills during my time at Kobalt working within the treasury department, having covered both sides of AP and AR. I now act as a vital cog within the team, working between the lines to supervise newer members of the team as well as reporting into more senior members of both the treasury and wider finance team.

Graduated from the University of Nottingham with a MSci in Accounting & Finance with Contemporary Chinese Studies
