- Working with a group of children (age 6-9) with different conditions, learning disabilities, and/or behavioral difficulties.
- Assisting camp counselors in organizing camp activities and field trips
- Actively participating in various camp activities
- Helping kids overcome challenges in adjusting to the new and changing settings and activities
- Learning practices and methods of organizing and leading a camp group
- Learning roles and responsibilities of a camp counselor
Volunteer - Little Ray's Reptile Zoo

- Taking care of various reptiles and amphibians (alligators, bearded dragons, snakes, toads, frogs, turtles, tortoises), arachnids (tarantulas, African hissing cockroaches), mammals (ferrets, monkeys, porcupines, praydogs) and piranhas.
- Feeding, bathing, cleaning enclosures etc
- Bonding with animals, creating the atmosphere of trust
- Providing information about different species to the visitors
