Currently, I am pursuing my undergraduate degree in psychology, driven by my innate interest in human behavior and passion for helping others. I made the decision to transfer to Jackson State University on an athletic soccer scholarship at the highest collegiate level (Division 1- NCAA) after completing my first year at Wilfred Laurier University on an academic scholarship. This transition has not only allowed me to excel in my athletic pursuits but has also provided me with valuable experiences and skills that extend beyond the field.
As a high-performance student-athlete, I have become adept at effectively balancing multiple priorities and working through adversity as a team player. The demanding nature of being a Division 1 athlete has instilled in me a strong work ethic, discipline, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment, as evidenced by my university GPA (3.7 out of 4.0). I am no stranger to hard work, and I consistently strive for excellence in all aspects of my life.
Moreover, my experiences as a student-athlete have taught me the importance of adaptability. Whether it be adjusting to new training techniques, collaborating with diverse teammates, or managing my time efficiently, I have developed the ability to thrive in different environments. I am always eager to embrace new challenges and believe that my adaptability will allow me to seamlessly integrate into your organization's dynamic and ever-evolving work culture.
