I'm a creator and a cloud enthusiast passionate about using technology to create simple solutions to complex challenges. I design sustainable architectures, develop reliable infrastructures, and deploy distributed systems that guarantee operational excellence and optimize cost. I am interested in collaborations that create seamless integrations that deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based solutions.
I am currently an AWS cloud engineering consultant. In this role, I design and implement well-architected distributed systems that are scalable, resilient, efficient, fault-tolerant, and sustainable. I develop automation that commits, builds, and deploys applications on AWS utilizing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
I create microservices that utilize decoupled architectures (such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, ALB, ElastiCache, S3, and DynamoDB) that comply with AWS security best practices. This work builds upon my previous role as a Technical Support Engineer for an Azure App Service, where I led technical troubleshooting and issues management as the primary technical contact for Azure enterprise clients. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering in 2015, I have continued to build on my foundation of technical knowledge through continuous improvement and professional development, to better serve clients, projects, and teams.
I am an AWS Solutions Architect Associate, an AWS Certified Developer Associate, an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundation Certified Associate, as well as an MS Certified Azure Developer Associate, MS Azure Data Fundamental Certified, and MS Azure Fundamentals Certified. Most recently, I have completed the AWS Developer Certificate Program through the Xtreme Talent Accelerator Program(XTAP) with Invest Ottawa. This was an advanced, 10-week program developed and delivered by AWS’ Training and Certification team to learn AWS Cloud Fundamentals and Cloud Development within Systems Architect-led workshops.
I believe that my background in these areas provides me with the knowledge to succeed and excel in this new role.
