Otto Fox

My name is Otto Fox, a former student of Lucas Briggs and Dale Howe from the OMIC Welding program. I took many courses of various different welding process, and did very well there. Unfortunately I didn't have much luck landing a job. I have however worked as a welder helper for the last year, and would love something a little more consistent.

Ranch Hand (Family Business) at QC Stables (2019-06 – Present)

Various tasks at our equine facility that are done quickly, effectively and to the customers standards:

• Feeding, stall cleaning and pasture turn out.
• Fence installation, repair and removal
• Construction, building repair
• Event assistance

Weld Helper at CH Murphy (Local 502) (2025-11 – Present)

• Manual labor including, running leads, setting up welding equipment and lifting.
• Basic blueprint reading and cut/grinding to dimension.
• Practiced proper safety procedures In professional workplace.
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30 and Refinery Training.

Equipment Operator at Local Grass Hay Baling (2020-06 – 2023-08)

Operated and Maintained various machines and heavy equipment:

• Had to operate a Tractor and Skid Steer
• Cut, Rake, Bale and Accumulate Hay
• Fix any breakdown in field to continue production
• Load and move equipment on trailer

• Rebuilt carburetor and disc brake spindle swap on 1969 Chevy C20
• Swapped Engine on 1967 C10
• Diagnosed and repaired Ignition and generator on Miller Big 20
• Rebuilt Powerhead on 441c chainsaw
