Paavni Sharma

I am a creative person skilled at both digital art, traditional art, and graphic design, and am currently studying animation. My past experience in teaching children’s skating and swimming has given me a deep understanding how to effectively break down concepts for young learners in an engaging and fun way. I am a patient and adaptable leader with strong communication skills and a passion for working with children

I worked for 3 years at Olympian swimming with the beginner swimmers ages 4-9; helping them get in the water for the first time, and then teaching them the basics of floating, front and back kick, and flips. I also trained new employees on how to run classes in the small pool, and guided them through handling the kids and helping them correct their strokes. Additionally, I worked for 1 year at the City of Richmond Hill as a skating instructor, where I worked with every age group of beginner skaters; young kids who had never gotten on the ice before, indeterminate preteens and teenagers at the last stage of learn-to-skate classes, and adults trying skating for the first time.

I graduated from Markham District High School with Honors in 2024, and I am currently studying towards both a degree in Creative Technologies at York University and a diploma in Animation at Seneca Polytechnic. I am also Standard First Aid Certified.
