ROLES:
- Providing security presence in areas of concern
- Exercising powers of arrest in accordance with local laws and company procedures
- Working closely with law enforcement (taking part in law enforcement’s special operations such as the RCMP’s quarterly ‘Boost and Bust’ operation)
- Assisting visitors, guests, and retail employees with respect to safety, requests for directions, escorts, package transportation, lost vehicles, etc.
- Applying property rules and regulations in a fair and responsible manner
- Writing daily incident reports involving medical incidents, use of force, and so on.

- Conducting routine scan tours when needed
- Giving a rapid response to situations of crime, urgency, and disturbance occurring at the mall.
- Working as a control officer/dispatcher when required and dispatching officers to respond to calls of distress, handle customer service, perform general duties, or help with arising general management issues in the mall.

ROLES:
- Assigning roles and responsibilities to guards, managing employee schedules, shift swaps, etc.
- Creating daily reports, and managing paperwork such as OHS forms, Post orders, and employee uniform requests.
- Entering data into computer systems and maintaining logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.
- Enforcing policies to ensure a safe and welcoming, family-friendly environment.
