Currently graduate student of MS Computer Science program at York University, Toronto, ON. Interested in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Information Visualization and Data Mining.
I have done multiple academic and research projects in areas of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Science both in BS and MS. My research focus currently is NLP and computer vision. In terms of industry experience, I passed a data science internship last summer in Manulife where I was working on a search engine in the NLP team of analytics department.
I am currently pursuing MS in Computer Science at York University. My thesis is about Chart Question Answering by using vision-language models that can handle both visual and textual data as input and do reasoning over them.
