Philip Kennedy

Curious. That is the word I would choose if I could use only one to describe myself. I'm always interested in learning new things. If I come across new facts or information, I have a compelling urge to investigate, explore and dive into the unknown.

I have had the pleasure of working at many different kinds of companies in my technical and non-technical professions. On the technical side, my software development career has given me the opportunity to create full-stack applications, iterate on SaaS products, and work with clients to adjust the product to their needs. I’ve also worked as a technician in a business-to-business tech support company, communicating with clients on how to solve their technical issues and servicing machines and other assorted electronics.

I'm 4 and a half years into my 5-year computer science co-op degree at the University of Guelph. I have worked on many unique projects throughout my educational career including a full-stack application for editing SVG which required the following skills: HTML, CSS, C, and JavaScript. There have also been many group projects where I have led teams to complete our assignments with a high quality and in a timely manner.
