During the past few months, I have been working at the Emergency Department. I have also worked in different areas of the hospital, such as medicine, labour and delivery, pediatrics, mental health, and at a long term care facility, which makes me a strong candidate and comfortable in my nursing skills. Through my experience, I have gained experience in catheter, ostomy, wound care, as well as medication administration and other skills.
I also understand the process of discharge from hospital and how to provide better care to my patients with assistance of an multidisciplinary team. I'm always looking to learn new things and continue educating myself, I plan to do this through taking a certificate course starting in 2023.
I have worked as an RPN for 4 years in different areas such as medicine and long term care. Currently, I work in the emergency department as an RN, providing care to different amounts of patients per shift as well as different acuity.
