- Safe transportation of specimens maintaining deadlines to preserve specimen integrity
- Responsible for the pick-up and delivery of medical samples, live animals, organs, reports and supplies between client offices, airports, hospitals, research centers, pharmacies etc.
- Carefully fill out and provide all necessary paperwork to ensure documentation is accurate (ex. Canadian Customs)
- Maintain the work vehicle by daily inspection, cleaning and sanitization
- Ensure all safety measures are taken with temperature control shipments
- Prompt customer service upon each and every delivery enhancing client’s experience
- Collaborate closely with dispatch to reach location in a timely manner
- Problem solve and report any complaints or concerns on shipment
- Confirm safety protocols are being met by adhering and keeping up to date with all safety procedures and policies (ex. use of dry ice, temperature control shipments)
- Assist in the warehouse with various tasks i.e. conditioning temperature control gels, organization of materials and shipments, downloading and sending temperature control monitor readings
