Vibration Control of flexible structures, applications of Robust
Control theory, Condition Monitoring of rotor systems as well as metal cutting processes using Artificial Intelligence Techniques. He has done work on Active Chatter Control of metal cutting systems using electromagnetic actuators. His current interests include the rotor dynamics of electrical machines.
