Software Development Tools Intern - Squarepoint Capital - Montreal, QC

As a fullstack developer, this internship required me to work in collaboration with a mentor, with the aim of serving a graphical interface. The application is a dashboard used by other developers in the company, allowing backend processes to be monitored.

• Implementation of full-stack features as an autonomous developer with mentoring. Web application was implemented with ReactJS and Python. Added visualization and interaction with the processes.
• The project followed the agile methodology, accompanied by scrum meetings. A continuous integration approach was followed, taking the project through development, testing, and production.
• An oral presentation on the motivation of the product, and to explain technical concepts. A demonstration of its reliability and user experience was offered to developers who would use the tool in the future, requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
