Rania Bentaleb

I graduated as a software engineer and mobile developer in Morocco. Following my interest in data management, more precisely in the financial field, I decided to do a master's degree in computer science for data intelligence and management at UQÀM. Due to my complete academic curriculum, I was able to obtain several technical skills. I have expertise in Python and C++ programming languages and I have extensive knowledge in SQL and NoSQL database design as well as in data analysis and mining. I am also familiar with modern data architecture tools Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark. I also have solid experience in ETL development. Currently, I am looking for a data science internship.

During my final year internship at an automotive research and testing center, I was able to apply my data analysis skills in a professional context. My main project was the design of an automated tool to analyze data from tests carried out on autonomous and connected vehicles. The aim was to automatically identify the attributes and factors influencing the validation and performance of these tests. To achieve this, I used ETL techniques to integrate, cleanse, transform and load data for analysis. My technological choices were the Python and Tableau Desktop libraries.

Thanks to this experience, I have strengthened my technical skills and developed personal qualities such as adaptability, creativity, initiative, communication and teamwork.

I hold a state engineering degree in software engineering from Morocco. I'm currently finalizing my master's degree in computer science for data intelligence and management at the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Thanks to my extensive academic background, I have developed solid expertise in the Python, SQL and Matlab programming languages. My training has also enabled me to acquire advanced data mining skills, as well as a good understanding of basic statistical concepts. I am skilled in applying analytical methods to extract relevant information from data. In addition, I'm familiar with massive data processing technologies such as Hadoop and Spark. I've also acquired in-depth knowledge in business intelligence such as the use of Tableau and Power BI. I also have solid experience in ETL development.
