Rebecca Dunn is the president of SEED and a dedicated Forest Facilitator, passionately committed to fostering a love for nature in young minds. With a diverse background that encompasses health sciences, early childhood education, and environmental engineering technology, Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role.
With over 20 years of mentoring and guiding children, Rebecca has developed a deep understanding of the foundational needs of young learners. She is a Level 2 Licensed Early Childhood Educator and a Certified Forest Therapy Coach, equipping her with the expertise to blend educational principles with experiential outdoor learning. Her unique skill set enables her to create enriching and transformative nature-based experiences that nurture holistic child development.
I have worked in both the private and not for profit sectors education including but not limited to child care centres, schools, recreational organizations, and specialized education such as Mad Science, and Green Schools NS. I am also the owner and president of Scotia Environmental Education Delivery. My extensive experience has developed my leadership, organization, presentation, outreach and engagement, and project management skills.

I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as Environmental Engineering Technology.
