Rebecca Luce

Hello! my name is Rebecca Luce and I am seeking a summer student position preferably in business administration and financing.

I have been employed since I was 15 years old and have worked in many different positions. I started working in retail (Sports Chek) gaining experience completing and shipping online orders, communicating and assisting customers, as well as basic cashier tasks. After retail I worked for a construction company (Wolf Construction) completing manual labor jobs and gaining knowledge of basic construction skills.

Following my labor position, I began working as a host/busser for Donaleigh's Irish Public House seating customers, cleaning tables, and assisting servers when needed. Outside of work I have volunteered at many places in my community. From my experience in the restaurant, construction, and retail industry, I have learned to embrace teamwork and thrive in team environments to always reach team goals and objectives.

I am currently completing my second semester in the Honors Bachelor of Business Administration (Management and Leadership) four year degree program at Georgian College. Throughout my time in the BBML program I have excelled in many of my classes including accounting, business management, internet economy, modes of communication, and marketing to name a few. These classes have allowed me to learn proper written, spoken and visual communication skills, gain knowledge and experience using Microsoft computer skills (excel, outlook, word), record and analyze accounting information and many other skills that will help me succeed in a wide rang of business administration and financing positions.
