Rebecca Marshall

Rebecca Marshall is a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician with MLPAO certification and hands-on experience in specimen collection, processing, and laboratory analysis. A graduate of Mohawk College/Michener Institute, she has honed her skills in phlebotomy, ECGs, and quality control procedures. During her internship at Niagara Health, she performed over 60 blood draws and assisted in multiple laboratory departments, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

I have a strong foundation in laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, and specimen processing. With MLPAO certification and a diploma from Mohawk College/Michener Institute, I have hands-on experience from your internship at Niagara Health, where I performed over 60 blood draws, assisted in specimen processing, and conducted quality control checks. My skills include proficiency in Meditech software, ECG performance, microscopy, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

I graduated from Mohawk College/Michener Institute with a Medical Laboratory Technician diploma, where I learned phlebotomy, ECGs, specimen processing, and microscopy. I also got hands-on experience with manual and automated staining, blood typing, urine analysis, and chemistry analyzers. Before that, I completed a Biotechnology Technician - Health diploma at Mohawk College, where I worked with PCR, gel electrophoresis, aseptic techniques, and microtome slicing/staining.

I’m also MLPAO certified, and my education has given me the skills and knowledge to work confidently in a lab setting.
