I am a 22 year old young man seeking his first job as a firefighter. I completed my College degree in the Fire Services program at La Cité in Ottawa in June 2026. This training has allowed me to respond effectively in extreme situations by using technical, physical, and mental skills, while applying proven stress management methods, and to gain a solid understanding of the scientific principles behind fire suppression and fire prevention.

Dining Room Attendant - Chartwells Retirement Residence

• Assist in meal preparation, portioning, and presentation while following hygiene and quality standards.
• Provide attentive and safe service to residents, both in the dining room and through in room meal service, ensuring their comfort and specific needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment by setting up, cleaning, and preparing tables between meal services.

Childcare

(2018-06 - 2019-08)

Occasional – a few days per week, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Supervise two boys aged 6 and 10 in their home.
• Lead various activities such as walking, playing at the park, going to restaurants, playing basketball, etc.
• Ensure they eat lunch, stay hydrated after activities, and have their snacks.
