I am passionate about the office environment, accounting and finance! I am currently studying Financial Mathematics at Wilfrid Laurier University and prior to that I was studying Business Administration at the University of Guelph-Humber. Throughout these programs I have developed a skill set that will help me succeed in the job industry. My previous work experience has given me a wide variety of knowledge and transferable skills.
I worked at Scotiabank as an Administrative Clerk in the indirect loans department. In this role, I was accountable for accuracy and accountability on entering data into Microsoft Excel. I communicated with co-workers by written and verbal means to clarify tasks or issues. I had exceptional care for the smallest of details when paying off customers loans. At Scotiabank, I had the chance to lead others and train new staff.
Scotiabank I worked at Zehrs where I was responsible for maintaining high standards of product freshness and cleanliness through cleaning and sanitation. I continued to ensure that there was minimal product waste by stocking, maintaining, and rotating product displays. I was accountable for food preparation in accordance with all policies and procedures and lastly, I performed all closing tasks efficiently and thoroughly, so there was a smooth transition between shifts.
I am currently attending Wilfrid Laurier University for Financial Mathematics, and before that I was doing Business Administration at the University of Guelph-Humber. Throughout these programs, I have developed a unique set of skills and have knowledge within the Financial Industry. I am eager to grow my knowledge and continue to learn more about the Financial Industry!
