Hello! My name is Reschelle Peetam and I am a university student with a dedication to encouraging equality, excellence, care, empathy, and innovation in the healthcare field. I am passionate about expanding my skill set which is why I actively seek job positions that encourage me to step out of my comfort zone, gain new experiences, and obtain soft and hard skills that will allow me to become a well-rounded individual in the competitive job market.

I am highly motivated to make a lasting, positive impression on every work experience that I have as I believe in always performing at my best, fostering a warm and welcoming work environment, and working as a team to provide excellent customer service.

I have worked as a seasonal sales associated at Rona Inc. for two years. Through this position, I have developed and improved my sales expertise by placing customer orders, tracking deliveries, constructing merchandise displays for flyer spotlights, and using sales techniques reach department goals. Additionally, I have reinforced my interpersonal and collaborative skills by working closely with the department manager, customer service staff, and other sales representatives to optimize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Along with these skills, I improved on my approach to conflict resolution and applied critical thinking to resolve customer concerns while covering multiple departments. I have also strived to create a better working environment and customer experience by submitting my concerns to management.

I am a biochemistry student working towards a Bachelors in Health Sciences at McMaster University. I have achieved honours roll in biology for two consecutive years.
