I have over 20 years experience as a retail manager. I have recently graduated from a course in HR Management and am looking to move into this field as a mid-career change.
I spent 20 years as a retail manager working for various companies in England and Canada. I moved to this area in 2020 when I took over the Giant Tiger franchise in Port Elgin.
I have recently completed a post graduate certificate in Human Resource Management from Fanshawe College. As part of the program, I have now completed the 9 courses required for CHRP designation. These courses include:
Canadian Occupational Health & Safety, Strategic HR Planning, Management Accounting, Compensation & Reward Strategy, Strategic Training & Development, Recruitment Strategy & Selection, Canadian Labour Relations, Organizational Performance & Principles in HR Management.
