Maintenance Engineer - Robertson FM-Durham - University hospital of North Durham

Working under Robertson Facilities Management, I work at the University hospital of North Durham. My main role is working closely with a small team of maintenance, undergoing regular PPMs, plant rooms duties, water testing, reacting to live urgent and emergency calls within the hospital and much more. Skills range from minor plumbing, electrical and Mechanical and fault finding within the hospital, using a pda phone system to log jobs, issues, faults and time.

Operations Manager - A M Professional mobile valeting-Durham - Durham

I currently work as a professional mobile var and van valeter. I run the small business which my friend owns. We have contracts with haulage and delivery companies such as AO, DIY Kitchens, NEAA etc. I run the business from the exterior and interior cleans, dealing with drivers and vans, keys, working closely with depot managers and other staff.

We travel the UK completing the work. We also have a unit which we detail and clean private vehicles. This includes winter coats, ceramic coating, full valets, details and machining and much more!

CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator - Northern Manufacturing Ltd.-Newton Aycliffe - Newton Aycliffe

I run a CNC press, guillotine and beam saw. Working to strict engineering drawings, and customer specifications, fabricate and produce various different steel diesel and petrol tanks of all sizes. All prep work, drilling, measuring and cutting is done myself and working within strict tolerances.

Process Operator - INEOS-Newton Aycliffe - Newton Aycliffe

Currently employed by INEOS, my main duties are working to strict BOM, and strict measurements, to prepare and mix raw chemicals, to put forward for the compounder to produce finished product. Handling various different raw materials and resins, stock control is a main part of my role. FLT work, and being computer illiterate is always a must, as I am fully competent using various different systems, such as; SAP.

Working closely with contractors, loading and unloading of various wagons with hazardous waste and scrap material.

Fabricator/Machine setter - National Structures

at a company called National structures. We design and build poly tunnels for garden centres and nurseries alike, as well as the fabrication of glazing windows & doors for high end supermarkets. My main job role consists of operating a variety of machinery such as; CNC press brake and guillotines, double headed saw, beam saw, chop saws and all relevant hand tools. Working to strict specifications and following engineering drawings correctly and competently.

Maintenance engineer - Redworth Hall Hotel

Working in a team of 3, our main role is to work closely with other members of the hotel to assure the hotel is ran well and efficiently.

Using

Opera computing systems, complaints or hotel maintenance problems will be logged in, as to then my role is to go and amend these problems. Main duties include; Electrical wiring/fitting, plumbing, property maintenance, landscaping, painting & decorating. Great customer service is obviously a massive factor, whilst working closely with the general public and there needs.

Fabricator - Premo Fabrications LTD

Working within a team or sometimes independently, our main role was to work to strict drawings to manufacture and assemble a huge range of aluminium cladding, mainly using pop rivets. Working with hand air tools, and a strict tolerance on measurements.

Mechanical Engineer - Advance Automated Systems LTD

I started the job with very little engineering background, I quickly picked up all aspects of the job, from mechanical, electrical, and fully understanding and working to engineering drawings. Carrying out work to strict specifications to the drawings is a must in my job. We design conveyor systems, ranging from belt, to roller, to much larger systems.

We also build and fit a lot of steel work, recently completing a 1.6 million pound job which span 100 metres long, and 13 metres high upon some mezzanine flooring. In this line of work, we are required to travel to customers and fit our systems, which I do quite often.

with skills ranging from packer, line feeding and running an assembly line, to operating a laser cutting programme, cutting thick plastic sheeting to specific measurements. My main role was working within a team of operators, to produce high quality lighting, from luminaries too LED Street lighting.
