My name is Rikki Ellul. Recently I completed school at WeldTech Training INC. and acquired my CWB/AWS certifications for STICK (All positions), TIG (All Positions), and MIG (Flat/Horizontal) welding. I am currently looking for a Welding Apprenticeship to further my education and grow my career in the Welding industry in an environment that is willing to train and teach me the skills I need to succeed.
7-week intensive course for STICK, TIG, and MIG welding. 245hrs in total. The course was full-time and ran Monday to Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm. After my course, I was hired to do a job welding stainless steel oil/electrical tanks but the travel to Toronto from Caledon proved to be a bit too difficult for me at the shift time they had available. I have recently decided that an apprenticeship will be the best for me to grow my career.
The Welding Technician Program is 7 weeks in duration or 245 hours full-time 8am-3:30pm 7 hour days 35 hour weeks. This course covers all the major welding processes SMAW (Stick) Structural, GMAW (Mig), GTAW (Tig), Oxy-Acetylene Cutting, Plasma Cutting, Carbon Arc Gouging, Blueprint Reading, Welding Symbols, as well as diving into Stainless and Aluminum welding.
