Rishi Pavan Konapala

I'm Rishi Pavan Konapala (Rookies Awards 2023 Finalist in multiple categories) and I have strong skills in modelling, sculpting, texturing, look-dev and grooming along with other skills such as animation, rigging, lighting, compositing, knowledge of both offline and real-time render engines.

I have a background in Illustration (2D) which I have freelanced in for a couple of years and practiced extensively through out my childhood in both traditional an digital medium and this has given me a deep understanding of form, detail, shape, color and lighting which translate over very well to 3D art.

I have a bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering from India which is one of the most extensive courses and this honed my ability to shine under pressure, and also helped me pick up programming knowledge. I also have some experience with using a camera which I've picked up in a certificate course that I've done after my college, which helped me understand that artistic skills transcend beyond medium.

I've had years of volunteering experience with an NGO called Make a Difference and in one particular year I was a Campaigns and Outreach fellow which demanded me to manage, mobilize over 300 volunteers and launch various campaigns in collaboration with other departments to improve the outreach and fundraising of our Non Profit. This serves as a testament to my leadership, communication, people management skills along with my ability to work in a team environment, collaborate with others and take feedback.

Recently, I started a part-time position in my school where I mentor current students in various aspects of CG to help with their demo reels and student portfolio which I thoroughly enjoy.
